At Your Service Cancún presents, Chichen-Itza and Valladolid.
Located 130 miles from Cancun, the most impressive Mayan City located in the Yucatan, recently named one of the seven wonders of the world, is the 2nd most visited archeological site of Mexico today. A carving of a plumed serpent at the top of the pyramid is symbolic of Quetzalcoatl (known to the Maya as Kukulcán), one of the major deities of the ancient Mesoamerican pantheon.

The ball court for playing the game Tlachtli (Mayan: pok-ta-pok) is 545 feet (166 meters) long and 223 feet (68 meters) wide, the largest such court in the Americas. Six sculpted reliefs run the length of the walls of the court, apparently depicting the victors of the game holding the severed head of a member of the losing team. On the upper platform at one end of the court stands the Temple of the Jaguars.
The tour is complemented by visiting Valladolid, where Mayan and Mexican Culture blend. With ancient Spanish architecture, such as churches and monasteries.
Our tour takes about 2 hours with 30 minutes to enjoy and take pictures.
Then we will take you to visit a Cenote, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath, especially associated with the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, cenotes were sometimes used by the ancient Maya for sacrificial offerings.

This a picture-perfect place where you can have lunch or if you prefer, we can suggest some places to sample the rich flavors of Mayan food. Either before or after lunch, you can have a refreshing swim (bring bathing suit and towels). After lunch we begin the return to your hotel.
